Amtgard
Amtgard is a swords and sorcery styled medieval combat, culture, and sciences organization. Amtgard was founded in El Paso, Texas in 1983 and has since spread throughout North America and the rest of the world. With over ten thousand active members representing a diverse swath of humanity it’s safe to say there is something for everybody in Amtgard. Whether you’re a teenager in high school or an established adult you will be able to find an inviting peer group that is excited to welcome you to the game.

Foam Fighting presented by Amtgard
All skill levels, including beginners, please join our friends from Amtgard for a boffer battle! Hitting your friends with foam swords is highly encouraged (as long as you follow the rules of safety)! A waiver must be signed to play. Battles use the rules of Amtgard, a medium contact, boffer fighting, fantasy LARP.
Leather Belt Pouch Workshop presented by Amtgard
Join Vadim and Dr. Feyraine Gorgon in this class on leather working! Participants will learn the art of sewing leather using a precut pattern for a belt pouch. Materials will be provided. If time permits, leather dyeing and tooling may be demonstrated. Cost: $25/person
Chainmail Keychain Workshop presented by Amtgard
Join Abu Nai and Wren Nai in this workshop on chainmail! Participants will learn how to make a keychain with a box chain pattern using pre-cut 16 gauge aluminum rings. Materials will be provided. If time permits, European 4 in 1 may also be demonstrated. Cost: $20/person
Eri Sensei
Sakura Juku Japanese Language School
Eri sensei grew up in Japan and moved to the US to study linguistics at the university and has been living here since then. Eri sensei loves to travel to different parts of the world whenever she gets a chance, learns about the different cultures, and tries out local food.

How Culture Influences Japanese Language presented by Eri-sensei
Intro-level panel on the proper uses and reasons behind things like the wide variety of honorifics and personal pronouns and examples of their correct use in anime and manga and the sometimes outdated or exaggerated uses of them as well.
Japanese Language Meetup with Eri-sensei
Attendees can meet and get some practice using their Japanese while Eri-sensei provides and opportunity to speak with a native speaker, get feedback on pronunciation and grammar, and ask questions.

Kick-Punch-QWOP
Kick-Punch-QWOP is an American paneling group. The group has been entertaining fans at various conventions for a million bojillion years, presenting panels often to standing-room-only crowds. They are best known for a big ol’ Game Show and QWOPWatch. None of them have ever been arrested. The group had 3 consecutive Platinum albums along with 6 top 10 hit songs on the Billboard Hot 100 during the 1990s including "Just Kickin' It", "Who Can I Run To", "The Arms of the One Who Loves You", and "My Little Secret" [citation needed].

Welcome to the Kick-Punch-QWOP SEKAICON GAME SHOW! This game show plans to entertain, titillate, and befuddle in an entirely new convention! Half You Don't Know Jack, half Jeopardy!, and half remedial math tutoring classes, the Sekaicon Game Show is an inane mix of questions that span the anime's past, present...and future?! (No.)
If you're interested in playing the game show, be sure to fill out a quiz earlier in the day to see if you qualify! But hey, even the audience can win prizes, so if you didn't qualify, stick around!
